DETROIT – Senior Tosan Evbuomwan of the Princeton University men's basketball team took the first step in his professional career following the 2023 NBA Draft early Friday morning, signing an Exhibit-10 contract with the Detroit Pistons.
An Exhibit-10 contract is a one-year, minimum-salary NBA deal. It allows the franchise to convert the contract to a two-way contract, should the change be made prior to the start of the regular season.
"Tosan has worked so diligently and purposefully for this and has had his sights set on the NBA for a very long time and he's going to be such a great asset to the Pistons" said Franklin C. Cappon-Edward C. Green '40 Head Coach Mitch Henderson. "I'm just so happy for him and his family."

After first attending the NBA G League Elite Camp inside Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois from May 13 until May 14, Evbuomwan extended his stay in the Windy City when he was one of eight NBA Combine invitees from the G League Elite Camp. The NBA Combine ran from May 15 until May 21.
