July 14, 2023 | Women's Water Polo
The 2023 World Aquatics World Championships will take place July 15-29th in Fukuoka, Japan.
Guapacha joins Ashleigh Johnson '17 and Jovana Sekulic as Princeton representatives at this event.
Argentina will play Italy, Greece and South Africa in group play.
Guapacha netted a team-high 86 goals while also collecting 22 assists, 19 steals, and 23 drawn ejections during her senior season in 2015. Her 86 goals were the fourth-highest single-season total in program history as the Tigers went on to the CWPA title. A first-team All-CWPA selection, she factored into the scoring in all 35 of her appearances in 2015, finding the back of the opposing net in all but two occasions. During NCAA Championship play, Guapacha netted five goals in three games to become just the fifth player in school history to surpass the 200-goal plateau. In 135 career contests, Guapacha collected 202 goals, 67 assists and 85 steals.
