Women’s Volleyball Announces 2023 Schedule

PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton University women's volleyball Head Coach Sabrina King announced the team's schedule for the upcoming season Tuesday, as the Tigers aim to win their third Ivy League title in four seasons and their 20th in program history.
The Tigers will play eight regular season home matches at home inside Dillon Gymnasium, play in two tournaments take on power five opponents Maryland and Rutgers.
"We're excited to test ourselves against some great competition before conference play starts, including at home against Santa Clara," said King. "We appreciate the tremendous fan support we receive inside Dillon, and can't wait to see everyone again in 2023!"
Princeton opens its season at the Bucknell Tournament on Sept. 2 against Niagara and the Bison, before returning home to host Santa Clara on Sept. 5. The Maryland Tournament is up next, and has the Tigers matching up with UMBC and Coastal Carolina on Sept. 8 prior to a showdown with the host Terrapins on Sept. 9. The Tigers wrap up non-conference play at Temple on Sept. 14 and at Rutgers on Sept. 15.
Ivy League play opens at the University of Pennsylvania on Sept. 22, and continues soon after on Sept. 23 when the Tigers host the Quakers inside Dillon Gymnasium. A stretch of four-straight road matches follows with Princeton facing Brown on Sept. 29, Yale on Sept. 30, Harvard on Oct. 6 and Dartmouth on Oct. 7.
A four-match home stand follows for Princeton as it hosts Columbia on Oct. 13, Cornell on Oct. 14, Yale on Oct. 27 and Brown on Oct. 28. The Tigers then hit the road for their final two away matches of the regular season on Nov. 3 at Cornell and Nov. 4 at Columbia.
Regular season play ends at home on Nov. 10 against Dartmouth and Nov. 11 against Harvard.
The No. 1 team in the Ivy League standings at the end of the regular season will host the Ivy League Tournament, which runs Nov. 17-19.
