Ethan Wright '22 Signs Pro Contract With CSM Tárgu Jiu

PRINCETON, N.J. – Princeton University men's basketball team alumni Ethan Wright '22 has officially joined the #PrincetonPro ranks, signing with CSM Tárgu Jiu.
CSM Tárgu Jiu is based in Tárgu Jiu, Romania, and plays in the Romanian Divizia A, which is set to tip-off in November.
Wright joins Tosan Evbuomwan '23, Ryan Schwieger '21, Devin Cannady '20, Richmond Aririguzoh '20, Myles Stephens '19, Amir Bell '18, Spencer Weisz '17, Henry Caruso '16 and Ian Hummer '12 Princeton men's basketball alumni currently playing professional basketball.
At Princeton, Wright helped lead the Tigers to the 2022 Ivy League Championship. He was named to the 2022 All-Ivy League and National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Second Teams and was three-time Ivy League Player of the Week in the 2021-22 season. Wright was also named to the NABC Honors Court in 2022.
Wright's 70 made three-pointers in the 2021-22 season rank 12th all-time in school history and his 119 career made three-pointers rank 24th. In Wright's senior year he finished third in the Ivy League in rebounds (206) and fourth in rebounds-per-game (6.9), shot 50.0% from the field, which ranked third in the Ivy League, ranked third on the team in scoring (14.7), and third in the conference in three-point percentage (39.5%) and three-point field goals per game (2.3). In two full seasons at Princeton plus a shortened 2019-20 season, Wright finished with 695 points, 361 rebounds, 93 assists and 63 steals.
Due to an Ivy League rule, Wright played the 2022-23 season as a graduate student at Colorado.
