Women's Basketball Secures Ivy Weekend Sweep; Defeats Dartmouth, 63-40

HANOVER – 13 different players scored for the Princeton Women's Basketball Team in a 63-40 victory over the Dartmouth Big Green at Leede Arena on Sunday evening.
Madison St. Rose led all players with 14 points, securing four steals. Head coach Carla Berube's squad had 26 points from its bench led by Paige Morton with eight.
The Tigers began the game with nine straight, then finished with eight consecutive points holding a 17-7 lead after 10 minutes.
Princeton extended its advantage by outscoring Dartmouth, 14-8, over the last five minutes of the second quarter, setting the contest at 33-17 at halftime.
St. Rose registered 12 of her 14 points in the first half on 5-of-9 shooting.
Berube's team led by as many as 23 in the third stanza before settling with a 49-32 advantage as the fourth quarter got underway.
Princeton was never challenged in the final 10 minutes, allowing just eight points. The Tigers forced 32 turnovers, scoring 34 points.
The Tigers have won eight in a row and sit at 13-3 overall and 3-0 in the Ivy League. They will take on Columbia, also in 3-0 in the conference, on Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. on ESPNEWS.
