No. 24 Men's Swimming & Diving Set For HYP & Senior Day

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 24 Princeton University men's swimming & diving team concludes regular season competition when it hosts Harvard and Yale on Feb. 2 and Feb. 3 at DeNunzio Pool.
Action commences at 6 p.m. on Jan. 2 and 1 p.m. on Jan. 3. At 12:40 p.m. a ceremony will be held honoring the Tigers' Class of 2024: John Ehling, Max Kreidl, Nicholas Lim, Touma Mack, Alec Pirone, Adell Sabovic, Mike Scornavacca and Peyton Werner.
The Tigers, who received a vote in the December 2023 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Top 25 Poll, are 7-2 on the season and a perfect 5-0 in Ivy League competition. Most recently, the Tigers overcame Penn State, 172-127, and fell just short to No. 21 Virginia Tech, 198-102, in a tri-meet on Jan. 20 in Christiansburg, Virginia. The meet was highlighted by Luca Fassi setting a new school record on platform of 394.40.
The Crimson, who have won the past six Ivy League titles, have a 4-2 record and have gone 4-1 in conference meets. In in its most recent meet, Harvard fell to the University of Pennsylvania, 176-124, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Jan. 20. The Bulldogs are 3-3 overall on the season and have a 2-2 record in Ivy League competition.
HYP will also be the Tigers' final meet before postseason competition begins. The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships run from Mar. 1 – Mar. 3 at Lejeune Hall in Annapolis, Maryland, and the Ivy League Championships take place in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at Blodgett Pool, from Feb. 28 – Mar. 2.
