
Offensive Onslaught Pushes Tigers Past Robert Morris

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa.- Princeton kept its foot on the gas for the second game of the weekend series against the Robert Morris Colonials. A full team effort and 11 goals by nine different scorers helped Princeton secure the victory.
The Colonials got on the board first but the Tigers knew how to handle this situation. Issy Wunder scored her first of the season before the Colonials' goal announcement could even be made to tie the game up at 1-1. The goals kept pouring in from there.
Katherine Khramtsov scored with Maggie Johnson and Gabby Kim recording the assists. Angelina DiGirolamo followed it up with her first career goal.
With a 3-1 lead after the first period, the Tigers did not let up.
Two short handed goals from Mackenzie Alexander and Gabby Kim increased the lead. Jane Kuehl and Sarah Paul each added one to bump the advantage to 7-1.
Issy Wunder and Angelina scored their second goals of the game in the third period. Emerson O'Leary and Lucia DiGirolamo also added scores. The goal was the first of Lucia's career.
The Tigers outshot the Colonials 54-21 on goal and 100-37 overall and Taylor Hyland made 20 saves in net in her first start of the season.
