Women's Rowing Finishes Day 1 at Head of The Charles

CAMBRIDGE - The Princeton's Women's Rowing Team's Club Eights boat collected third place overall during its event today at the Head of the Charles.
The Eights rowed out to a 16:35.86, 38 seconds behind Yale in first at 15:57.855. Radcliffe was second at 16:31.29. There were over 40 boats in the event today on Lake Charles.
The Tigers will have a four boat race on Sunday at 1:10 p.m. and two eights go off at 2:25 p.m.
Since its origin in 1965, the Head of the Charles Regatta has welcomed the world's best crew teams to the banks of the Charles River for the ultimate three-day rowing competition. The event attracts over 12,000 athletes and tens of thousands of spectators.
