Women's Rowing Has All Boats Qualify For NCAA Semifinals

WEST WINDSOR – The Princeton Women's Rowing Team had each boat qualify for its A/B Semifinal during day one of the NCAA Rowing Championships.
The First Varsity got started by picking up a third-place finish in heat four (6:16.40), trailing Washington (6:13.44) and Virginia (6:15.53).
Princeton's 2V had an impressive performance, earning a 2.7-second victory in its heat (6:18.28) over Tennessee (6:21.01) and Michigan (6:25.77) who also advanced to the A/B Semifinals.
The Tigers' 2V takes on No. 2 Washington, No. 5 Yale, No. 14 Michigan, No. 7 Brown, and No. 8 Harvard in Saturday's semifinal at 9:36 a.m.
Head coach Lori Dauphiny's varsity four nabbed a 7:14.78, second best to Washington (7:11.57) while Brown was third (7:15.72).
The varsity four will race No. 1 Stanford, No. 3 Syracuse, No. 4 Texas, No. 8 Tennessee and No. 12 Harvard in Saturday's Semifinal at 10:24 a.m.
Since 2010, the first varsity has secured top 10 finishes at NCAAs all but twice. The boat has medaled two of the past three seasons as the Tigers in the overall team standings. In addition to the varsity four's gold in 2022, the boat nabbed silver last season.
