Women's Golf Finishes 12th Out Of 19 Teams At Stanford Intercollegiate

Princeton closed out the fall portion of its 2024-25 women's golf season with a 12th place finish out of 190 teams at the prestigious Stanford Intercollegiate.
The Tigers were +31 overall as a team, posting rounds of 285-298-300 for a team score of 883 over the three days. Stanford and Southern California tied for the team championship with matching team scores of 834 (-18).
Princeton was up against 12 total teams ranked inside the Top-50, and finished ahead of three of them as No. 44 Washington, No. 25 UCLA and No. 43 San Jose State finished in the three positions right behind the Tigers in the team race.
The Tigers were near the top of the leaderboard after the first round, posting a team score of +1 on Friday to sit in fourth place. Conditions got a bit more challenging for most of the next two days, but Princeton powered through to secure a solid finish to cap a productive fall which saw the Tigers win two team championships with wins at the Nittany Lion Invitational and Princeton Invitational.
Catherine Rao had the highest finish individually for the Tigers, carding a three-day total of 212 to finish tied for 14th at -1. She was -2 (69) in Friday's first round, and followed with rounds of 72 and 71. Over her 54 holes, Rao had 15 birdies -- including seven in Sunday's final round which saw her birdie three of her final four holes to finish even par for the day. Her 15 birdies were tied for third-most by any player in the field.
Olivia Duan birdied five of her final 12 holes in the first round on Friday to rally back for an even-par 71 that bolstered her towards a T36 finish overall.
