Ivy League Names Kamryn Chaney Player Of The Week For Fourth Time

PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore Kamryn Chaney was named Ivy League Player of the Week for the fourth time this season Monday afternoon after helping the Princeton University women's volleyball team secure its 20th Ivy League Championship over the weekend.

Chaney helped lead the Tigers to a 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-16) victory over Dartmouth on Nov. 15 in Hanover, New Hampshire, along with a 3-1 (25-16, 22-25, 25-13, 25-17) triumph over Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on Nov. 16.

She averaged 5.0 kills-per-set (35 total kills) with a .351 hitting percentage along with 3.0 digs (21 total) digs and six blocks. She recorded the first of her two double-doubles against Dartmouth with 15 kills, hitting .344, and 11 digs and two blocks. Chaney followed with 20 kills on a .357 hitting percentage along with 10 digs and four blocks against the Crimson.

The weekly honor is Chaney's fourth, as she also earned it on Sept. 16, Oct. 21 and Nov. 4.
