PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 1 seed Princeton University women's volleyball team fell in the Ivy Tournament final to No. 2 seed Yale inside Dillon Gymnasium Saturday evening, 3-0 (26-25, 25-23, 25-20).

Sophomore Sydney Draper handed out a team-high 31 assists and had seven kills, while sophomore Erin McNair had a match-high three service aces. Sophomore Sydney Bold's 13 digs also led the match.
The first set was played to a stalemate at 7-7, but a 3-0 Bulldog run put Yale ahead, 10-7. The Bulldogs would remain in front, but with Yale leading 20-17 a junior Lucia Scalamandre kill led a 3-0 run that tied it up, 20-20. A Yale attacking error followed by a freshman Jackie Onyechi kill gave the Tigers set point at 24-23, but Princeton could not capitalize, and the Bulldogs would earn the 27-25 first set victory.
Yale raced out to an 11-8 advantage in the second set and would hold the lead until a Chaney kill knotted the score at 20-20, then a Draper service ace put the Tigers in front by one at 21-20. Despite the late rally, Yale would battle back and take the second set with a score of 25-23.
Princeton showed its resilience in the third set, using a 4-0 run to take an 11-7 advantage. However, the Bulldogs responded with a 7-0 run and jumped ahead, 17-14. The Tigers battled hard late but could not stop Yale who held on to win the set, 25-23, and the match, 3-0.
