Ivy League Honors Kamryn Chaney As Player Of The Week For Third Time

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its weekly awards Monday morning and Kamryn Chaney of the Princeton University women's volleyball team was honored as the Player of the Week for the third time in 2024.
Chaney led the Tigers to a weekend sweep of Yale and Brown, with the victory over the Bulldogs snapping their 30-match home winning stream. Princeton took down Yale on Nov. 1 in New Haven, Connecticut, 3-1 (24-2, 25-20, 25-19, 25-18) then Brown on Nov. 3 in Providence, Rhode Island, 3-2 (25-23, 25-19, 20-25, 25-15, 15-9).
She averaged 4.89 kills-per-set (44 total kills), 2.67 digs-per-set (24 total digs) and had seven service aces and three blocks. Chaney tallied 25 kills on a .532 hitting percentage with 0 errors, 13 digs and two service aces against Yale. Against the Bears she recorded 19 kills, 11 digs and five service aces.
Chaney was also named Ivy League Player of the Week on Sept. 16 and Oct. 21 while junior Lucia Scalamandre received the honor on Oct. 14.
