Wunder and Alexander Earn ECAC Weekly Honors

PRINCETON, N.J.- The Princeton women's hockey team had a successful Thanksgiving road trip and the good times have kept rolling. First a huge 8-1 win over the #13 Boston University Terriers, then two victories over the Stonehill Skyhawks. The final exclamation point was Issy Wunder and Mackenzie Alexander each picking up ECAC weekly honors.
Wunder was named the Bluebird Hotels ECAC Forward of the Week for the first time in her career. The junior tallied 11 points on seven goals and four assists in the three Princeton wins. Wunder scored five goals in the second game against the Skyhawks, the most since 1995.
She now leads the team in goals with 15 on the season and owns a +20 rating.
Alexander picked up her third Bitcoin ECAC Rookie of the Week honors this month after helping propel the Tigers to victory. The freshman recorded 13 points thanks to two goals and 11 assists. She notched six assists in the Saturday win over Stonehill, which ties the second most in a single game in program history. Alexander holds the team-high in assists with 21 and points with 29. She leads the country in points per game with 2.23.
The Tigers will be back at Baker Rink to take on No. 9 Quinnipiac on Saturday at 3:00 PM.
