Princeton Has 12 NFHCA National Academic Squad Members

Tiger Field Hockey was represented by 12 members on the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association National Academic Squad.

According to the NFHCA website: "This prestigious acknowledgment is reserved for individuals who have achieved an outstanding cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester of the current academic year, nominated by their devoted NFHCA member coaches."

Among Princeton's 12 honorees are Sam Davidson and Bridget Murphy, who were honored for the fourth time each. Only 181 athletes in Division I earned the honor for the fourth time.

In addition to those two, Princeton's other winners were Lydia Bills, Olivia Caponiti, Ella Cashman, Hope Delaney, Ava Dempsey, Helena Große, Ella Hampson, Ellie Manriquez, Ottilie Sykes and Lily Webb.

The NFHCA will announce three more academic awards by the end of the month, with the Scholars of Distinction, the National Academic Team awards and then the National Scholar-Athlete.
