PRINCETON –Nathalie Verlinde of the Princeton Women's Lightweight Rowing Team has been named a recipient of the Daniel M. Sachs Class of 1960 Graduating Scholarships.
Verlinde, a molecular biology major, has been named as the Sachs Global Scholar. She plans to use the Sachs award to support cutting-edge research on Parkinson's Disease at NeuroRestore in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The senior has won three IRA gold medals during her time with Princeton, collecting two Varsity Eight medals in 2021 and 2022 along with the Varsity Four medal in 2023. She has also helped the Tigers to back-to-back IRA Commissioner's Cups.
