Women's Track & Field Finishes Competition at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, NJ - At the Princeton Invitational held today in Jadwin Gym, the Princeton women's track and field team delivered strong performances across various events.
In the weight throw event, Annika Kelly secured first place with a throw of 18.50m (60-8.50), while Madeline Wolford captured second place with a throw of 16.06m (52-8.25).
Tessa Mudd excelled in the pole vault, claiming the top spot with a clearance of 4.20m (13-9.25), while SJ Cohen earned third place with a vault of 3.75m (12-3.50). Also in the field, Soraya Patterson dominated the triple jump, securing first place with a distance of 11m (36-1.25) and Makenna Marshall delivered a strong performance in the shot put event, earning second place with a throw of 12.45m (40-10.25 ).
In the 1000m race, Mari Noble showcased her strength and endurance, clinching first place with a time of 3:05.72, followed closely by Anna Chittenden in second place with a time of 3:06.84.
Harlowe Brumett-Dunn demonstrated her speed in the 60m dash, finishing in first place with a time of 7.78, while Franziska Burchett followed closely behind in second place with a time of 7.82. Rachel Wilson showcased her prowess in the 400m race, securing first place with a time of 59.75.
Overall, the Princeton women's track and field team competed well and today's meet markedthe final day of competition before the 2024 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Harvard University at Gordon Indoor Track in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
