CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 25 Princeton University men's swimming & diving team opened competition at the Ivy League Championships at Blodgett Pool Wednesday evening.

The opening session of the championships was highlighted by Mitch Schott's lead off split in the 800 freestyle relay, which set a new school record of 1:33.37 in the 200 freestyle. It topped the previous record in the 200 freestyle, which he held, of 1:33.40. The Tigers ended the evening in third with 108 points, just two points short of Yale who is second with 110 and 20 short of No. 22 Harvard whose 128 points has the Crimson in first.

200 Medley Relay
The Tigers finished fourth after Tyler Hong, Lucas Strøbek, Conor McKenna and Brett Feyerick posted a time of 1:26.29

800 Freestyle Relay
The quartet of Mitch Schott, Noah Sech, Max Hunger and Max Kreidl finished second with a time of 6:21.28.
