As they prepare to help the No. 12-ranked Princeton women's hockey team take on Clarkson in this weekend's ECAC Hockey quarterfinals, Sarah Fillier, Issy Wunder, Gabby Kim and Kate Monihan have earned All-Ivy League honors, the league has announced.
Earning first-team honors, Fillier, a senior and four-time ECAC Hockey Forward of the Week this season, leads the team with a career-high 28 goals and 41 points and stands third on the team with 13 assists. Fillier leads the nation in goals per game at 1.04, stands seventh in the nation in points per game at 1.52, and is sixth in power play goals with eight. The honor completes a four-year run of first-team All-Ivy recognitions for Fillier, making her the fifth player in program history with four first-team All-Ivy League honors and first since Kathy Issel '95.
Wunder, a sophomore, earned second-team honors for her first All-Ivy League recognition. The award comes during a season in which Wunder has more than doubled her assist total from last season, from nine to 23, and nearly doubled her point total, from 18 to 31, to go with eight goals that are just one off her total of nine from last season. The 23 assists co-leaad the team with sophomore classmate Emerson O'Leary while the 31 points are behind only Fillier on the team.
Kim, a rookie blueliner, earned honorable mention All-Ivy and has scored three goals and added nine assists for 12 points in her first campaign with the Tigers.Â
Monihan, a fellow defender, earned Academic All-Ivy League recognition. A three-time ECAC All-Academic honoree, the Ivy academic honor is the first for the senior student in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. Monihan has had seven assists this season, the second-most assists and second-most points of her career after nine helpers and 10 points last season.
