Four Record Hat Tricks in No. 8 Women's Water Polo's Victory Over Villanova

PRINCETON – The No. 8 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team had four players score hat tricks in an 18-7 takedown.
Kayla Yelensky, Kaila Carroll, Ally Lurie and Shanna Davidson all had three goals each for Princeton in the victory.
In front by one, 3-2, the Tigers ripped off four straight tallies in the second quarter before holding a 7-3 lead at the break.
Princeton's offense hardly slowed down in the second half, starting with five consecutive goals to push its lead to nine, 12-3. Head coach Derek Ellingson's crew led 13-4 after 24 minutes and scored five more times in the fourth quarter to settle with the 18-7 decision.
The Tigers host the Princeton Invitational (Feb. 16-18) next weekend.
