Baseball Falls To No. 16 North Carolina

Matt Scannell led off the game as he was hit by a pitch. After moving to second on a walk, he advanced to third on a fly out. After a strikeout, Scannell stole home on a pickoff throw to first base.
North Carolina scored 11 runs in the bottom of the first on 10 hits.
Jordan Kelly came around to score on a single by Dylan Zdunek in the top of the fourth inning.
Jason Ramirez recorded four scoreless innings in relief, scattering three hits. Will Sword and Patrick Jarvis also posted scoreless frames.
Nick DiPientranonio led the Tigers with two hits in the loss. Princeton and North Carolina continue their series on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m.
