Riches Earns CWPA Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON - Charlotte Riches was named Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Rookie of the Week.
Riches scored a goal in each contest at the Aztec Invitational for Princeton. She added an assist vs. No. 13 Indiana and three drawn ejections vs. No. 13 UC San Diego.
Princeton has now won a CWPA weekly honor in all but one week its played in this season. Riches has 12 goals, four assists and 16 drawn ejections for the Tigers so far. Head coach Derek Ellingson's crew takes on Pomona-Pitzer today at 2 p.m. before contest vs. No. 12 LMU Friday (8 p.m., 5 p.m. PT) and No. 1 UCLA on Saturday (4 p.m., 1 p.m. PT).
