Women's Basketball Handles Dartmouth, 68-42

PRINCETON – Behind 12 different players scoring in the contest, the Princeton Women's Basketball Team took down the Dartmouth Big Green, 68-42, at Jadwin Gym on Saturday evening.

The Tigers ran off the first eight points of the contest and took a 17-6 lead into the second quarter. Dartmouth cut its deficit to nine a few times, but trailed 33-22 at the break. No player had more than five points for the Tigers in the first half.

Princeton put the contest away with 10 of the first 11 points to begin the second half. Dartmouth never got within 17 the rest of the game.

Madison St. Rose led the Tigers with 12 points while Skye Belker was 4-of-4 from the floor with 10 points. Ellie Mitchell also did not miss, securing six points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Princeton scored 38 points in the paint and corralled 26 points from its bench. Fadima Tall had a career-high nine points and seven rebounds in 11 minutes.

Head coach Carla Berube's team is now 22-4 overall and 12-1 in the Ivy League. The Tigers can clinch a share of the conference championship with a win over Penn next Saturday (2 p.m.) in the regular season finale. They can win the title outright with a Columbia loss at Cornell.
