Carver and Lucas Nab CWPA Weekly Honors

PRINCETON – Rachael Carver and Lindsey Lucas have won Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) weekly honors, the conference announced today.

It's the second time that Carver has won the CWPA Player of the Week award during her time at Princeton. She produced seven goals and 11 assists as the Tigers went 4-0 during the CWPA crossover last weekend. She had two goals and two assists in the wins over Bucknell, No. 8 Michigan and St. Francis. The junior finished the crossover with a goal with five helpers vs. Brown.

Lucas was named Defensive Player of the Week for the third time season and 10th time in her career. She had eight stops in the win over Michigan and six more saves in the victory over Brown.

Carver has 18 goals and 33 assists while Lucas is 9-2 in goal with a .584 save percentage in 11 starts for Princeton in 2024.

Head coach Derek Ellingson's crew begins the Spring Break trip at the Aztec Invitational this weekend (Mar. 9-10).
