No. 24 Men's Tennis To Host Brown & No. 72 Yale

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 24 Princeton University men's tennis team is set to host a pair of upcoming Ivy League matches, first against Brown on Apr. 13 then No. 72 Yale on Apr. 14.
Princeton's match against Yale will also serve as Senior Day. A short ceremony will be held honoring Ben Smith between singles and doubles.
The Tigers are 19-6 on the season and have a 2-1 record in Ivy play. Most recently, Princeton defeated No. 28 Cornell, 4-1, at home on Apr. 7. In the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings Paul Inchauspe and Filippos Astreinidis are ranked No. 36 in doubles while Inchauspe is also ranked No. 34 in singles.
Brown has a 5-15 record on the season and fell 7-0 to No. 12 Harvard in its last match on Apr. 7 in Providence, Rhode Island. Yale is 10-8 in 2024 and 1-1 in Ivy play, most recently earning a 6-1 home victory over Dartmouth on Apr. 7.
Princeton will be facing Brown and Yale for the second time this season; it defeated Brown 5-0 on Feb. 16 and Yale 4-3 on Apr. 17 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships.
