Ten Home Games On Schedule for Women's Soccer in 2024

Ten home games and five games against 2023 NCAA tournament teams are on the schedule for the Princeton women's soccer team, which will be looking for its sixth NCAA tournament bid in what will be its ninth competitive season under head coach Sean Driscoll.
"As a staff, we prioritize the need to test ourselves against top non-conference competition every fall. This year is no different," Princeton head coach Sean Driscoll said. "With opponents from the Big Ten, ACC, Big East, CAA, Patriot and MAAC, this may very well be the most difficult combination of games that we have faced. Our belief is that the challenges presented by each of our opponents will be tremendous preparation for Ivy League. A special thanks to Associate Head Coach, Mike Poller, for crafting another excellent schedule for our student-athletes."Â
Admission to all Princeton women's soccer regular-season home games is free of charge at Roberts Stadium.Â
The Tigers are able to return the scorers of 20 of the team's 35 goals from last season, led by All-America honoree Pietra Tordin, a rising junior who scored a team-high 12 goals last season. Six of the 11 players who started at least 10 games last season are able to return, including rising senior Tyler McCamey, who started all 19 games and turned in six solo shutouts. Princeton earned an at-large bid to the 2023 NCAA tournament and earned a first-round home game, defeating Michigan before going to Texas Tech and dueling the Red Raiders to a 0-0 draw for 110 minutes before Texas Tech advanced on penalty kicks.
The second annual four-team Ivy League Tournament is set for Nov. 8 and 10 at the highest seed following the conclusion of the regular season.Â
