Princeton Wrestling Alumni Monday and Kolodzik to Compete at 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials

Monday will be contending in the 74kg weight class and Kolodzik in the 65kg weight class. Both Monday and Kolodzik represent the strong legacy of Princeton's wrestling program and are poised to make a significant impact at the trials. Their participation underscores the program's tradition of excellence and the continued success of Princeton alumni in the sport of wrestling.
The Princeton alumni will represent the New Jersey Regional Training Center. The NJRTC operates under the leadership of Reece Humphrey, who was named USA Wrestling Coach of the Year and previously served as an assistant coach for Princeton wrestling. The NJRTC trains and is based out of the Princeton University wrestling room and has produced 2 World Team Members since it was established in 2017.

Pre-seeds for the Trials were announced Monday, April 16th.

Competition Schedule
Friday, April 19
10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Session I - Challenge Tournament Preliminaries, Quarterfinals and Consolation Rounds, for all styles and weight classes.
6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Session II – Challenge Tournament Semifinals and Finals, all styles and weight classes
Saturday, April 20
10:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Session III – Round One of Best-of-Three Championship Series, all styles and weight classes, plus Round Two of Best-of-Three Championship Series in the five weight classes not yet qualified for the Olympics. Also the completion of the Challenge Tournament consolation semifinals, consolation finals, third place bouts and True third (in necessary)
6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Session IV - Round Three of Best-of-Three Championship Series (if necessary) in the five weight classes not yet qualified for the Olympics. Followed by Round Two and Round Three (if necessary) in the 13 weight classes qualified for the Olympic Games. The session concludes with the presentation of the U.S. Olympic Team.
