Women's Water Polo Sweeps CWPA Weekly Honors For Second Time

PRINCETON – For the second time this season, the Princeton Women's Water Polo Team swept the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) weekly honors.
Kaila Carroll was honored as the Player of the Week after scoring five goals in the Tigers' two wins last weekend. She drew an ejection and had two points at Harvard before ripping off four tallies and three steals in the victory over Brown. It's the second time this season that Carroll has been picked as Player of the Week.
Lindsey Lucas earned CWPA Defensive Player of the Week for the seventh time this season and 14th time overall. She posted 11 saves vs. Harvard and nine stops at Brown.
Charlotte Riches corralled CWPA Rookie of the Week following two goals over Harvard and a tally over Brown. This is her second weekly accolade.
The Tigers will face the winner of the No. 4 and No. 5 seed in the CWPA Tournament on Apr. 27 at 12 p.m.
