Men's Golf Maintains Lead After Two Rounds At Ivy Championship

Princeton maintained its lead at the 2024 Ivy League Championship, posting a 281 as a team during Saturday's Second Round to stay in front of second-place Yale entering the final round on Sunday at Watchung Valley Golf Club. Princeton sits at -5 as a team, five strokes ahead of the Bulldogs who are even par as a group. Harvard is third at +8, 13 strokes behind Princeton.

All five of Princeton's players remain inside the Top-20 on the leaderboard, paced by William Huang who is 1st at -6 overall after shooting a 68 (-3) on Saturday to match his 68 (-3) on Friday. In Saturday's round, Huang carded seven birdies, including four on the front nine and the adding three over his final four holes to charge out to the solo lead.

Riccardo Fantinelli is T5 at -1 overall, giving Princeton two of the six players under par overall through 36 holes. On Saturday, Fantinelli posted seven birdies, but back-to-back double bogeys on Nos. 11-12 stymied what was shaping up to be a blistering round.
