Women's Track & Field Competition at TCNJ Lions Invite Draws to a Close

EWING, N.J. - The women's track and field team delivered a strong performance at the TCNJ Lions Invite, showcasing their talent across a range of events.
Madeline Wolford achieved a first-place finish in the women's hammer throw, setting a new personal record with a throw of 54.50m (178-09). With this mark, Wolford jumps into the Princeton outdoor record book at 10th all-time. Also in the field, Soraya Patterson secured fourth place in the women's triple jump, recording a mark of 11.00m (36-1.25).
On the track, Emily Cooper dominated the women's 1500m, clinching victory with a college best time of 4:40.29. Daphne Banino followed closely behind in third place with a time of 4:48.43.
In the women's 800m, the Tigers celebrated a 1-2 finish, with Charlotte O'Toole taking first place in 2:09.57 and Maddie Cramer securing second place in 2:12.47.
India Ingemi delivered an outstanding performance in the 400m hurdles, claiming victory with a new personal best time of 1:01.63.
The TCNJ Lions Invite served as a crucial final tune-up opportunity for the Tigers before the upcoming conference Heps championships.
