Women's Water Polo To Take On No. 2 Seeded Hawaii In NCAA Quarterfinals

PRINCETON – The No. 7 seeded Princeton Women's Water Polo Team will take on the No. 2 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in the NCAA Quarterfinals, the NCAA announced today.
Princeton and Hawaii will face off on May 10th at 7 p.m. (4 p.m. PT). The game can be seen on NCAA.com. These two have already battled this season with Hawaii earning a 10-6 decision in the first game of the season for the Tigers. Those two will take on the winner of No. 3 California and Fresno State on May 11th at 7 p.m.
On the other side of the bracket, No. 1 seed UCLA will take on the winner of Wagner and Biola. Stanford and USC make up the other quarterfinal.
Princeton qualified for the NCAA Tournament with its second straight CWPA Championship in a 10-9 takedown of No. 13 Michigan on Sunday.
Ava Houlahan scored the game winning goal with 1:21 to go to secure the win. Kayla Yelensky was named MVP of the tournament.
This was the sixth conference title in program history for Princeton and the second time the team has done it in back-to-back years.
