April 03, 2024 | Women's Water Polo
PRINCETON – The No. 15 Women's Water Polo Team swept the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) weekly awards.
Rachael Carver was named Player of the Week after recording two goals and six assists vs. Wagner last week. Her six assists matched her career high and was one shy of the program mark. It's the second time this season she's picked up that honor.
Olivia Krotts was named Rookie of the Week after posting a tally in the team's comeback victory over Wagner. This is the first time she's corralled that award in her young career.
Lindsey Lucas made 10 stops in the win over the Seahawks to earn CWPA Defensive Player of the Week for the fifth time in 2024.
It's the first time this season Princeton has swept the weekly honors. The Tigers continue CWPA action this weekend at Bucknell. Head coach Derek Ellingson's crew takes on Michigan (11 a.m.) and St. Francis (3 p.m.) on Saturday and Bucknell on Sunday (12 p.m.).
