Women's Water Polo Has Six Named To CWPA All-Tournament Team

PRINCETON – The two-time defending Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Tournament Champions had six named to the All-Tournament Team.
Kayla Yelensky, Lindsey Lucas, and Rachael Carver were named to the First Team while Kaila Carroll, Ava Houlahan and Meera Burghardt were selected as Honorable Mention.
Yelensky was named MVP of the tournament after posting seven goals and three assists in the Tigers' two games. She scored a hat trick in the championship game vs. No. 13 Michigan and had four more tallies vs. No. 24 Brown.
Carver contributed four helpers and two drawn ejections vs. Brown along with two blocks, a helper, and a drawn ejection vs. Michigan.
Lucas had nine saves each game for Princeton.
Carroll had a goal in each game while putting up four combined steals and two blocks while not losing a single sprint. Burghardt had a block in Princeton's two battles while Houlahan secured a hat trick vs. Michigan including the game-winning tally.
The No. 7 seeded Princeton Women's Water Polo Team will take on the No. 2 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in the NCAA Quarterfinals on May 10th at 7 p.m. (4 p.m. PT).
