Liu Sits T21 After 36 Holes At NCAA Regional

Victoria Liu is tied for 21st at the NCAA Las Vegas Regional after 36 holes, posting an even-par 72 on Tuesday to enter the final round at +2 (146) overall. Florida State's Lottie Woad leads at -10 (134) while Kajal Mistry of Arkansas is one back at -9 (135).

Currently, Liu is eighth among individuals who are not on the teams currently inside the Top-5. To qualify through to the NCAA Championship, Liu will need to be the top individual finisher not on those five teams who qualify through. Savannah Barber of Oklahoma is in the qualifying spot after 36 holes at -4 (140) which is T6 overall. A lot can change during Wednesday's final round as the Sooners are one shot out of fifth as a team.

After shooting a +1 (37) on her first nine holes, Liu birded Nos. 1 and 8 on her way in for a -1 (35) second nine, tallying 14 total pars to go with two birdies and two bogeys.

Liu's third and final round at the Las Vegas Regional tees off at 9:50 a.m. PST at Spanish Trail GC on Wednesday.
