Riccardo Fantinelli Named GCAA/PING All-American

Riccardo Fantinelli has been named PING Honorable Mention All-American as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) this week.
The 2024 Ivy League Player of the Year, Fantinelli is the seventh GCAA All-American in program history and first since Stave Dana was also named honorable mention All-American in 1994. He is the only Ivy Leaguer among the 64 men's golfers named a PING All-American this season.
Earlier this spring, Fantinelli was named PING All-Region, one of three Tigers to receive that honor this season as he was joined by William Huang and Jackson Fretty. For Fantinelli, the All-Region honor was the second of his career.
"Riccardo is well deserving of this recognition," said head coach Will Green. " He sets the standard for our program each time he competes and he has shown time and again he can play with anybody in the country as a collegiate golfer and he is also one of the top amateur players in the world. I am excited to see what the next two years have in store for him and our entire team."
Up next for Fantinelli is The Amateur Championship to be held June 17-22 at Ballylifin in Ireland.
