Weaver '18 Wins U.S. Squash National Championship

Olivia Weaver '18, a four-time All-American during her time at Princeton, captured her first U.S. Squash national championship on Saturday at the Arlen Specter Squash Center in Philadelphia.
Weaver was coming off a run to the semifinals at the PSA World Championships in Egypt in May, a finish that lifted her to a No. 4 world ranking.
Over four days in Philadelphia, Weaver won all four of her matches in three games, defending her top seed with a win over second-seeded Sabrina Sobhy in the final, 13-11, 11-6, 11-6.
After the PSA World Championships, Weaver made the quarterfinals at the British Open earlier this month. She is scheduled to play at the Xbox PSA World Tour Finals in Bellevue, Wash., June 18-22.
