PRINCETON, NJ – Following an outstanding 2023-24 track and field season at Princeton, Shea Greene and Alexandra Kelly have both earned spots in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. The trials are set to take place at Hayward Field, a familiar venue for both athletes, who recently competed there in the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Greene will vie for a position on the U.S. team in the Javelin Throw, while Kelly will contend for a spot in the Long Jump. Their qualification marks a significant achievement, reflecting their dedication, skill, and the high level of competition they have maintained throughout the season. As they prepare to compete against the nation's best, both Greene and Kelly will draw on their experience and recent performances at Hayward Field to bolster their chances of making the Olympic team.
Kelly is set to compete on Thursday (6/27) at 9:18 P.M. and Greene will go on Friday (6/28) at 7:00 P.M.
