Six Named To Phil Steele Preseason All-Ivy Teams

PRINCETON – The Princeton Football Team had six players named to the Phil Steele Magazine Preseason All-Ivy Teams.
Luke Colella (Wide Receiver), Tommy Matheson (Offensive Line) and Jack DelGarbino (Defensive Line) were named to the First-Team while AJ Barber (Wide Receiver), Nasir Hill (Defensive Back) and Brady Clark (Punter) were Second-Team selections.
Colella posted 47 catches in 620 yards and six touchdowns highlighted by a 7-121-2 performance vs. Yale, earning Honorable Mention All-Ivy laurels in 2023 while Matheson was a starter on the offensive line, adding a Blue Bloods Second Team All-Ivy pick. DelGarbino nabbed 51 tackles in 10 games for the Tigers last year, corralling Honorable Mention All-Ivy.
Barber set new career highs with 42 catches and 582 yards and three touchdowns, picking up Honorable Mention All-Ivy in the previous campaign. He went for 156 yards for Lafayette and contributed 142 yards vs. Brown. Nasir Hill was Second-Team All-Ivy last season as he was third on the squad in tackles, recording at least four in eight of 10 contests. Clark was Honorable Mention All-Ivy after putting up a 39.2 yards/punt average with 24 going inside the 20-yard line.
Princeton's 2024 campaign starts at Lehigh on Sept. 21 with kickoff set for 12 p.m.
