Lucas Liow '28 & Cy Rosenberg '28 Compete At World Rowing Championships

ST. CATHARINES, Ontario – A pair of incoming members of the Princeton University heavyweight rowing team, Lucas Liow '28 and Cy Rosenberg '28, competed at the U-23 & U-19 World Rowing Championships Wednesday.
Representing the USA in the second heat of the U-19 Men's Pair, Liow finished second in 7:21.58. Rowing in the third heat of the U-19 Men's Quadruple Sculls, Rosenberg and Team USA finished fourth with a time of 6:43.88.
"Today was a solid first race for Lucas and Cy," said Associate Head Coach Matt Smith. "You learn so much in your first international race. These two will race again tomorrow and it will be fun to see how they apply what they learned today and bring this race experience to Princeton!"
Both will row in the repechage; Liow will row in the 2- tomorrow at 2:35 p.m. ET, with the top-two making the A final and the remaining competitors rowing in the B final.
Rosenberg will race at 2:40 p.m. ET tomorrow. The top-three advance to the A/B semifinal, with the remaining boats rowing in the C final.
