PRINCETON, N.J.- Cierra San Roman is bringing her collegiate and professional experience to the Princeton women's ice hockey staff, joining the program as the team's Director of Video and Analytics.
"I am excited to join the Princeton women's ice hockey program and work alongside (head coach) Cara (Morey), Jamie (Lundmark), Taylor (Wenczkowski) and the rest of the staff," San Roman said. "I'm looking forward to working with the staff and players both on and off the ice to provide video and analytical insights as we compete for championships. Princeton is such a prestigious university, and I am honored to have the opportunity to be a part of it."
San Roman previously worked with PWHL Boston and the Coachella Valley Firebirds of the American Hockey League in the video departments. The roles included tagging live game footage, creating prescout reports of opponents, and analyzing film and statistics.
"We are thrilled to have Cierra join our staff as Director of Video and Analytics," Morey said. "Cierra comes to Princeton with a wealth of knowledge and experience in this area in both college hockey and professional hockey. She will help our players and staff with in-depth analysis of key factors for player development and team success."
Prior to Princeton, San Roman played for the Colby College Women's Ice Hockey team (2017-21) and was named the Team Rookie of the Year and Team MVP during her collegiate career. As a senior, she was awarded the Colby College Athletics Patty Valavanis Award, given to a female student-athlete who exhibits academic and athletic excellence and personal leadership and sportsmanship.
