Fairfield Scores in 80th Minute to Get Past Women's Soccer Team

An 80th-minute goal from Fairfield's Elle Scott lifted the Stags to a 1-0 win over the Princeton women's soccer team on Wednesday night in Connecticut.
The result came despite Princeton outshooting Fairfield 17-7 overall and 5-2 on goal. Lily Bryant led Princeton with five shots overall and two on frame.
The game was Princeton's last before Ivy League play begins on Sept. 28 at Cornell.
