UNIVERSITY PARK, PA.- Aidan Wang was the 2024 Ivy League Championships High Point Diver of the Meet. He was a two-time First Team All-Ivy member and all of this was in his freshman year. Wang has continued his diving dominance in his sophomore campaign by going undefeated on both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards this season. He continued that trend with first place finishes in both at Princeton's tri-meet with Penn State and Virginia Tech.
Wang and the Men's Swimming and Diving team earned a 178-122 win over Penn State but came up short against Virginia Tech 173-127.
Princeton's 200 medley relay team of Tyler Hong, Patrick Dinu, Conor McKenna and Brett Feyerick placed third to begin the meet.
Santiago Gutierrez and Connor Buck went 1-2 in the 1000 freestyle in a finish separated by less than three tenths of a second.
Mitchell Schott added to his impressive season with two individual wins with the first coming in the 200 freestyle. Schott touched the wall at 1:33.31, just shy of his own program record. Noah Sech followed Schott with a fourth place finish in the event.
Hong picked up first in the 100 backstroke as Parker Lenoce and Lucas Strøbeck came in fourth and seventh respectively.
Schott's second win came in the 200 butterfly where his time of 1:44.13 was over two seconds faster than the second place finisher.
Hong and Lenoce finished 2-4 in the 200 backstroke before Andrew Zou and Sech went 3-4 in the 200 breaststroke.
In the 200 IM, Schott and Sech had another strong showing with a 2-3 finish.
The day was finished with the 400 freestyle relay team of Feyerick, Dinu, Hong and Schott coming in second at 2:52.27.
