•A strong second half led the Columbia Lions over the Princeton Women's Basketball Team, 58-50, at Levien Gym on Monday evening.
•The Lions outscored the Tigers, 38-20, in the second half to secure the victory. The home team ended the third quarter on an 8-0 run to take the lead, 40-36, after 30 minutes. Princeton got within six with 2:09 to go in the game but couldn't inch closer.
•Ashley Chea led the Tigers with 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting, adding four rebounds and a steal. Parker Hill was perfect from the floor, securing 12 points while Fadima Tall registered eight points and seven rebounds in the loss.
•Princeton scored the first seven points of the contest before Columbia answered with a 9-2 run to tie the game. The Tigers corralled a 13-11 advantage after 10 minutes.
•In front by four, 21-17, the road squad ripped off nine straight to jump in front by 13, 30-17, before settling with 10-point lead at halftime.
•Princeton finished the game, shooting 51.2 percent while holding Columbia to its lowest scoring total of the season.
