PRINCETON – The No. 6 Princeton Women's Water Polo Team dropped LIU Sharks, 13-9, at DeNunzio Pool on Saturday afternoon.

Kayla Yelensky led the Tigers with four goals while Shanna Davidson also added a hat trick.

After tallies from Jovana Sekulic and Davidson, LIU registered four straight, doubling up the Tigers with 4:35 to go in the first half.

Princeton blitzed LIU with three goals over two minutes, but the road squad evened the contest at 5-all before halftime.

After the two teams exchanged tallies, Kate Mallery, Ava Houlahan, Davidson and Yelensky scored to put the Tigers in front, 10-6, as the third quarter ended. Sekulic and Kendall Wyer began the fourth frame scoring to put the game away.

Head coach Derek Ellingson's team finishes the Princeton Invitational vs. No. 22 Wagner Sunday (4 p.m.).
