Zein to Play for National Title on Tuesday in New York

Princeton sophomore Zeina Zein will play for the College Squash Association's individual national title on Tuesday in New York after a three-game sweep of Cornell's Yee Xin Ying in Monday's semifinal.
Zein was an 11-4, 11-6, 11-8 winner over the Big Red sophomore just 10 days after the first-position match in the teams' dual match in Princeton went the other way in four close games.
Zein will be the first Princeton woman in 24 years to play in the national final, since Julia Beaver '01 won the last of her three national titles. A win would be the 12th individual national title in program history, and Zein would be the sixth Princeton woman to win the title, with Wendy Zaharko, Demer Holleran and Beaver winning three each, and Nancy Gengler and Katherine Johnson one each.
Tuesday's match will be a 1:30 p.m. start at Grand Central Station in New York, and Zein will face Stanford's Riya Navani. Zein has not faced Navani in collegiate play.
