Ittycheria Named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Daniel Ittycheria was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
The award comes after Ittycheria scored his fifth goal of the season on Saturday, putting the Tigers up 2-0 over Cornell with a rocket from way outside the box.
Returning from a two-game absence due to injury, Ittycheria continued to create chances and registered five more shots as he helped Princeton secure an important conference result on the road in Ithaca.
Ittycheria leads the Ivy League in goals scored (5). He also leads the Tigers in points with 10.
The award is Ittycheria's first of the season and second of his career.
Ittycheria and the Tigers will be back in action tomorrow, continuing their travels as they head down to Virginia to face JMU. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in Harrisonburg.
