Fall Racing Opens For Heavyweight Rowing At Head Of The Charles

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Princeton University heavyweight rowing team got off to a strong start in its first competition of the fall, the Head of the Charles, Sunday at the Charles River.
"The team had a solid day of racing up at the Charles and it was a good first step in our season," said Head Coach Greg Hughes. "We're excited to build on what we learned as we gear of for the Chase in a couple of weeks."
Both boats finished inside the top five in the 4+, with the A boat coming in second (15:16.366) and the B boat fifth (15:47.436).
In the 8+, the Tigers' A boat finished eighth (13:55.615) and the B boat 19th (14:10.991).
