Shelby Burriss Earns Second Ivy Rookie of the Week Award

PRINCETON, N.J. – For the second time in 2025, Shelby Burriss of the Princeton University women's volleyball team has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week.
Burriss receives the honor after helping lead the Tigers to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-17) sweep of the University of Pennsylvania on Oct. 24 inside Dillon Gymnasium.
Burriss recorded 10 kills with no errors on a .667 hitting percentage along with a match-high four blocks.
On Oct. 13, Burriss won Rookie of the Week for the first time this season and became the third Princeton player to win it in 2025. Olivia Foye garnered the accolade on Sept. 29 and Taylor Clarke on Sept. 8.
