The Tigers drove down the field but couldn't convert on 4th and goal from the two-yard line. Princeton's defense shined again as AJ Pigford made this spectacular interception to set up a goal-to-go situation.

Asher Weiner got the Tigers on the board with a 1-yard scamper into the end zone.
After no scoring in the third quarter, head coach Bob Surace's squad went 71 yards in under four minutes highlighted by Ethan Clark's two-yard touchdown to go in front.

Esteban Nunez Perez added a 38-yard field goal on the next drive to make it 17-10.
After a Princeton punt, Columbia got the ball back with 1:54 to go at its own 10-yard line. The Lions drove to the Tigers' 42-yard line before their Hail Mary attempt was knocked away by Scarano to finish off the victory.
Scarano led the Tigers with 11 stops, a pick and a pass break up. Chase Christopher contributed seven tackles while three others had six stops. Josh Robinson paced the offense with 73 yards receiving.
Princeton improves to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the Ivy League while Columbia drops to 1-2 and 0-1 in the conference. The Tigers welcome No. 22 Mercer to Princeton next Saturday (Oct. 11). Kickoff is set for 12 p.m.
