Women's Open Rowing Finishes Up Princeton Chase

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Open Rowing team finished up the Princeton Chase on Lake Carnegie today.
The Tigers' A eight boat took the top time in the morning session among 30 entries at 13:56.05, less than a second in front of Virginia (13:56.9). Princeton's B boat was at 14:27.23, sixth best.
Head coach Lori Dauphiny's A (15:18.82) and B eight boats (16:28.78) nabbed silver and bronze in the afternoon portion.
Princeton's A entry in the 4+ corralled silver (16:35.24), trailing only Virginia (16:21.84). The Tigers' B boat was sixth overall at 16:51.08.
In the 2X, the Tigers' A boat crossed the line with the quickest time (17:32.97) while the B boat nabbed bronze (17:56.78).
Princeton's 1X A entry had the fastest time in the event at 18:47.49.
